These are real fucking stallions.

This picture is great from the start, and then you realize that they’re literally wearing her shoes and it makes it that much better.

This is beautiful.

They look better than me in heels

I will never not reblog this.

Indigenous people of Brazil trying to prevent their eviction from an old indigenous museum which they have been living in for the past 7 years.

On March 22nd all of the inhabitants and their supporters were forcibly removed or arrested.

Poofs Against the Poll Tax

In 1990, whilst living in London, a few gay friends and I painted a banner for the Poll Tax Demo. With masses and masses of people bussed in from all over England, it raised a few eyebrows but also got plenty of cheers.

The poll tax was Thatcher’s most Hayekian move - a flat property tax on every adult in a household, regardless of whether it was the Lord of the Manor or a single mum in a Council flat -  by the end of the year she was sent packing by her own party.

Good riddance to bad trash.

The most revolutionary thing one can do is always to proclaim loudly what is happening.

‘Every rape survivor needs compassion, not detention’ - young girl holding a sign at SlutWalk London 2012.

STILL MY FAVOURITE PICTURE FROM A PROTEST EVER

yes london

But this girl has no idea what she is even protesting. Isn’t this the same idea as the Westboro Church trying to force their children to protest something they have no information about? Yes she’s promoting love, but to me that doesn’t make the brainwashing any better. Let our children have their childhood and learn to think for themselves and then when they’re teenagers they’ll join the protest.

Wow, fuck you for acting as if these things don’t happen to kids.
I for one am super glad that the parents of this girl are teaching her about boundaries and consent. Kids are definitely smart enough to know about these things.
Also, your’re comparing teaching your kids basic life rules to preaching hate? Wtf is wrong with you? It’s not brainwashing, it should be the bare minimum for  decent parenting.

I was the organiser of this protest. Actually this girl’s mum was an asylum seeker who got raped and then got put in a detention centre here in the UK. This girl knew exactly what happened to her mum. Asylum seeker children don’t get the same innocence that a lot of white British kids do and that’s the fault of the society we live in. I’m glad that she is protesting about it, you would be too if it was your mum. The thing with trying to promote the sort of innocence that you’re promoting is it just means that all these people’s horrific stories of injustice get shoved under the carpet and nothing gets done. Innocence is only something that privileged kids have, for the rest of us ‘innocence’ just means silencing. It’s because people like this girl have spoken up about things that her mum even has half a life in the UK today.

Awesome protests erupted in my school today. Our student council planned a “fun” game for valentines day. They handed out paper hearts to every girl at the beginning of the day. Only the girls. If a girl speaks to a guy through the duration of the day, she has to give him her heart. Guys get five raffle tickets for every heart they collect. Girls cannot collect hearts, they only have one to give away, and guys do not have to give away anything. A gay male asked for a heart to give away to participate and was told no.
Some girls have taken this as an invitation to say things such as, quoted from twitter, “keeping the whores from talking today haha.” And boasting about “keeping their heart and not being a whore.” This has turned into an excuse to shame each other for talking to guys. And for what? A valentines game?
Rather than writing their names on the hearts and giving them away, many girls have written notes of protest on the paper hearts and are wearing them proudly as they associate with whoever they please and refuse to give the heart away.
Proud of some of the people in my school today.

males are rewarded for collecting female “hearts” and are encouraged to collect as many as they possibly can, but females are only allowed to have one heart to give away, and when they give it away they’re not allowed to play anymore
the correlation of “hearts” to how virginity/sex is treated in society is kind of eerie and definitely sexist

Wow, that’s disgusting.

Few know that February 12 – officially declared National Women’s Day in Pakistan – commemorates a march by women three decades ago, which marked the “beginning of democracy”. Exactly 30 years ago, a group of women suffered the brunt of police action for defying Section 144 (which bans public assembly) to protest against the proposed Evidence Bill during former ruler Gen Ziaul Haq’s regime. The protesting women had planned to march to the Lahore High Court to submit a petition against the bill, which reduced the legal status of women by proposing that the evidence of two women should equal that of one man.
